India and Pakistan in tit-for-tat diplomat scuffle

August 6, 2006

Having managed a stonking 5 days of negotiation since pledging to persevere with the peace nagotiations, India and Pakistan yesterday decided to kick out a couple of each other’s diplomats.

The whole affair began when an Indian official was apparently caught ‘red-handed’ with a pile of sensitive documents. Pakistan, obviously somewhat upset with this, proceeded to punt him back over the Indian border with some speed.

India promptly turned around and threw Pakistani diplomat Sayed Mohammed Rafq Ahmed out, for no stated reason whatsoever. Very childish indeed, for a nuclear-armed power.

This whole playground-stylee runs on the background of the devestating Bombay train bombings last month, which India swears Pakistan had a hand in.
