China battered by giant storm

Nearly 1.3 million people have been evacuated from south eastern China as a giant typhoon made landfall today.
Typhoon Saomai, with winds of over 120mph, is the eighth large storm to hit the Eastern giant this year, and the second in August alone. After one storm claimed over 600 lives last month, the authorities have chosen to take caution and evacuate as many people as possible.
Congatulations to the vile Communist dictatorship for the evacuation this time, but why did it take seven previous storms for them to bother? Admittedly, this is the most violent storm season China’s had for perhaps a century, but still…
